Upcoming: Switchit 2.0 – New Interface, New Features, Improved Performance

You asked for it and we listened.

We’ve heard many of you tell us that you love Switchit, but would like features such as a business card scanner, CRM integration, the ability to export contacts from the app to your mobile phone and more. Other requests have included simplifying the sharing process, UI (User Interface) improvements, the addition of multiple elements within your digital business card such as phone numbers, web addresses, and social links, along with other system upgrades. We heard you – So in the coming release of Switchit 2.0 (OS Orion 1.0), we want to discuss some features you can expect to see.

Over the past year, we’ve been working towards a major new version of Switchit, using the moniker “Switchit 2.0” as its name.

To support Switchit 2.0’s new features, we ultimately rebuilt the app from the ground up, all the while making the process of sharing your digital business card simpler. Rebuilding an app as complex as Switchit is no small task. What I’d hoped would be a year-long effort is taking a bit longer but we feel it’s definitely worth the wait.

Switchit 2.0 will be a new app for iOS and Android with two headlining premium features: a business card scanner and CRM integration. Switchit will remain free to use. System upgrades for the freemium version will include a New User Interface & Delivery System, Contacts Exporter, and Contacts Editor. The premium app will be priced as a monthly subscription for iOS and Android mobile devices and will include all features listed in the 2.0 Roadmap of System Upgrades. What’s Next After Switchit 2.0

The future is very bright for Switchit. After the launch of Switchit 2.0, we will introduce A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) system enhancements, a new sync engine built exclusively for app-to-app exchanges between Switchit users, LinkedIn integration and a redesign of our native digital business card. Although our roadmap for the future will revolve around “Smart” features, we will always remain true to Switchit’s original vision — Provide people an easy way to share their contact information and make great first impressions.
